Why I a decided to Leave Networking Marketing, Part One

Network marketing is the fastest way to make substantial money under the right circumstances. Some of you know me, but many do not, which is understandable— today I am going to share with you many of the ups and downs of network marketing.?

I started with this industry at a very young age, before "Social Media" and many of the other outstanding features I never had at the time. Most of us have never heard of a company called Amyway, just kidding, we all have, and many of us bought their products or joined their magical promise of richness.?

We listened to some of the worse recordings on cassettes that we had to buy and share with our prospects; recruiting new members was an absolute nightmare. The system we used back then worked for some, but very few made it or lasted with this company, and some came back and made it all work out well.

Network marketing, to me, has been such a vital part of my financial life. I made a lot of money in this industry and also lost a lot of money. Peaks and valleys are how most enterprises are—however it is just part of life with network marketing. I have also made unbelievable connections that have lasted a lifetime.?

The hardest part of network marketing is getting people to join your business and have them do the same thing as you - bring on more people. During the days with Amyway, we used a house phone line, set up an appointment, and had house parties to sponsor new prospects. We did it sneakily, and I had a hard time with it. We would almost lie about why we invited them to our house.?

Many who worked in this industry can recall the agony of recruiting new prospects into their company. Then we all needed to buy a certain amount of products every month to qualify for paycheques that never covered the products we just bought.?

It was tough to duplicate your results with your new members; they would come and they would go, for their own reasons. But my concern was they left our company. It was like playing snakes and ladders. The problem was the snakes were always longer than the ladders.?

We learned that most of the ways of conducting business were self-learning processes that have not changed since day one—reading books and learning how the industry functioned daily. It certainly made you ask yourself a simple question, "What the hell am I doing in this industry?"?

I will continue to provide you with my ups and downs with network marketing in the next few days. It has and continues to be a great learning process, one of the main reasons I still am a lifelong student of the industry. I just knew one thing, you could make a lot of money, but it would take time.?

So more to come. I would enjoy hearing your ups and downs and why you want to be involved in network marketing. Thank you.
