Why I Co-Founded Halo Consulting
Working in a boutique environment as an entrepreneur with people I trust has long been a dream of mine, and today I’m excited to announce that I’ve officially co-founded Halo Consulting, the boutique recruiting firm, with my colleague Doug Brown.
Doug and I have worked together over the last 5+ years in multiple organizations and have seen every angle of agency recruitment during our careers – from contract staffing to fully retained executive C-suite search.
We decided to come together and form Halo, to work with a select group of clients that are looking to change the world, but who have a variety of niche, often highly technical recruiting needs that are critical to their business, across multiple levels.
Throughout our careers, we’ve noticed a tendency towards to “transactionalism” at larger recruiting firms, who want to fit clients into boxes with regards to the searches they execute and the way the structure fees, and whose execution teams comprise junior, inexperienced generalist recruiters, rather than mature and consultative SMEs. With the current market conditions, now is the time to partner with Halo.
As a boutique firm, Halo has the resources and bandwidth to spend the time needed to learn about your business and culture, and communicate that to the market, all the while conscious of providing a best-in-class customer experience as the ambassador of your brand.
