2. Gives the organizations better visibility and control of their business processes
Running a business involves quite several tasks. As on onboard more employees and expand the company, one will no longer be able to micromanage the operations. One need to delegate work and make sure that the management and the organizations employees are working as a single entity. We often see that when start-ups grow and reach a certain size, it becomes significantly more difficult to navigate the business. Then it is a matter of having anchored good business processes that can be adjusted and changed so that the business can become more agile. Without good enough business processes from the beginning, we often see that when businesses grow and change, the financial results are also lacking. Which is often due to unclear business processes and responsibilities? I have witnessed this many times.
With knowledge in business process management, one can map out workflows from beginning to end. One can also come up with a central repository where one can detail the protocols and tasks related to aspects of the operations. This way, one can avoid confusion and make it simpler for the organizations employees to understand how to perform their tasks.

There will always be room for improvement when it comes to workplace productivity. However, the process of enhancing it can be quite tedious. Often, businesses have a reactive approach to this by changing workflows only to address specific situations or problems. Those who want to be more proactive sometimes rely on trial and error wherein they simply add or subtract tasks from their process to see what works.
By using business process management, one can take the guesswork out process improvement. It lets one evaluate the organizations current workflows to see the key deficiencies. Business process management can be used to streamline the organizations business processes from the get-to-go. One can eliminate the need to manage it every second of every day, allowing one to free up time for more attention-demanding tasks as well as headspace for better decision making.

Lastly, business process management is great for helping organizations increase operational agility. The practice’s methodical approach to operations allows businesses to gain a deeper understanding of their workflow. It helps them get a good look at the interdependency of their resources and processes. This way, it is easier to strike a balance between them once market trends, customer demands, and industry regulations shift.
Summary:
Time and time again, we see when companies grow and pass 100 employees, the financial results are also missing. This is often since one has not had well-established business processes in the organization. When the organization expands, the expansion is not related to the company's business processes. Ergo, you only get more employees who do not have ownership or understanding of the company's business processes. This is not the employees' fault, but this lack of management and understanding in the management of their own business processes.
