Why human AI hybridization is not avoidable
I talked before that humans are actually hybridizing with machines.
Since 2017 actually.
The trend already started in early 2000 (or in the 1990s) when we had mass adoption of the mobile phones/smartphones.
I wrote about the hybridization trend here (Human machine hybridization, chatGPT just last tool. And not the least).
But why is it not avoidable?
I will explain.
First let’s divide issues in 2 categories: Emotion driven, fact driven.
Examples of Emotion driven:
-AI will take all our jobs? (I disagree, I wrote about it here ‘Does AI really replace human jobs?’)
-AI will become so powerful that it will destroy us?? (but yet why it should destroy something not related to its food. More on that here ‘How an AI robot would feel ‘)
Examples of Fact driven:
-Since the internet, the amount of information to study/digest sky-rocketed.
-Societies strive to have a competitive advantage among others, so each individual need to contribute mentally, not physically (I partially touched the subject here ‘Why AI (and technology) is pushing for genders equality’)
Regardless if all these AI issues are real or not… there is only 1 way to solve them at once.
Human-machine Hybridization.
How the saying goes?
If you can't beat them, join them.?
And it was never so literal.
PS: I believe we will not see a complete hybridization in the next 50-100 years.?
