This subject line is a mouthful, isn't it.
I guess, with all the Christmas treats, extra food on the table, we are allowed to have a mouthful.?
December is the month when I reflect on the year that has just passed.
I did a rebrand from Ballueder Partners to Obnatus this year, so that was a big one. I strengthened my focus on delivering Coaching and Advisory work, with proposals being out there for the New Year. I feel good about 2025 being a year of change.
A year from now, I'd like to sit here and look back on a year that was full of developing others, supporting others to become the best version of themselves. For them, and me, and transform them to live a life they want to be living.
I want to see my kids growing into mini-adults (yes, they are at this stage now), and people close to me thriving in what they want to achieve. I want to improve my boundaries with work, and focus on the most important things in my life, and some of them just aren't work.?
But enough about me....what plans do you have?
Looking back a year from now, what do you want to have achieved?
And looking back at 2024, what did you like the most? What were the highlights of your life?
Spend some time over the holidays to jot down some of the things you have done this year. Journal, pen and paper. Things you were proud of, things you want to improve. Plan forward, imagine what it would be like, a year from now, or even just at the end of Q1? Maybe even make a vision board that reminds you on what you want to achieve.
Last tip of the year, plan the year in quarters, sit down every quarter to review 90 days forward and look back. That's something that you can control a lot more than a yearly plan.
?
With these wise words,....there are two more things to remember this year:
?
1. I still have some coaching spaces for January, book some time now if you are interested.
2. Mark the date: 5th of February at 12 pm, I will be holding a LinkedIn live on Emotional Intelligence
I wish you a Merry Christmas, or Happy Holidays - however you celebrate.? Have a fantastic start into the New Year, get some rest and look after yourself and your loved ones.?
With kindness and gratitude,
Volker
