Abraham Lincoln said, “He who represents himself has a fool for a client.” Lincoln was applying this to Law but the same applies in Real Estate. Real Estate professionals work in this MASSIVE industry every day; don’t you think they may know a few things you don’t? And rightfully so!

I recently had a friend explain to me that they do not NEED a Real Estate Agent to help them buy their new home. So, of course, I asked them, “Why the heck not!?!” I would have added “crazy” to the end of that question, but thought that might be a little rude…

They went on to explain, “Because we don’t need to pay someone to help us find what we like.”

Of course not. But you don’t pay an Agent to help you purchase a home.
