The Government Relations & External Affairs Specialist will support the company's efforts in engaging with government entities, managing legislative and regulatory affairs, and fostering relationships with external stakeholders.
What are the challenges with Government Relations?
a) Having the right budget and resources to drive relationship and policy development
b) Coordinating the GRC framework as part of managing the various government mandates across all levels of government and the geography
c) Setting goals and objectives that can be achieved and measure on a consistent basis
d) Staying up-to-date with local, state, provincial, territorial, and federal government elections across geography
e) Being agile including allocating limited resources to the right priorities.
