8 年Good points Colin. As you alluded to in your post, security is another good reason. Good cloud providers have invested heavily in the security of their systems and processes as it is critical to their business. However, as the client, one can't abdicate that responsibility so it's crucial to verify the security credentials of a third party. ISO 27001 certification is one way of identifying a companies commitment to information security, it is then your own responsibility to ensure monitoring of your supplier for continual compliance to the requirements, terms and conditions you specified in your contract.
