Why not give a little to get a little?

Our previous “Why Not Wednesday” taught you about taking credit for the good work you do for your clients. This week we’re speaking about encouraging your network to help broadcast your business development plans.?

We’ve all heard plenty of tips on how to network through events, social media, even on a dog walk! But there’s less said about how to utilise and maintain that network once you’ve made the initial connection.??

Reaching out to that carefully curated network of yours, to ask for a repost of your latest achievement or download an article is a great way to add value to relationships, with continued communication on topics that are actually useful to them.??

But, like most things, networking relationships are a two-way street.??

The best way to get the most out of people is to engage with them as much as you’d like them to engage with you. That means comments, likes, shares, and generally supporting their achievements will help you as much as it helps them.?

So why not set yourself a challenge to react to just five posts from your network this week? It may help your profile increase as well.??
