Why getting "out there" is important

I am not aiming to answer anything, just sharing a bit on my inspiration for being close to nature as much as possible.
So, am I daily in such pristine places, talking with bears and caressing eagles? Nop. Neither am I drinking from springs and eating berries for lunch. BUT, I do try and enjoy every single moment I am out of my desk to breath and see the (im)perfections of the world.
The point here is to have this mindset, knowing that what really matters is nothing that can be really acquired, only experienced and, for the most part, is already "out there" waiting for you to remove the clutter in your mind/life and touch it.
What I also find deeply exciting about wild places is that, with a few too many exclusions, people tend to be less crazily selfish. Being self centered in places of such beauty seems, and is, counter intuitive - unless you are on an emergency of course.
So be it for the laugh, for the oxygenated body or simply not be looking down to your mobile so much, give it a try and start getting out there more. Not sustained here with science or numbers but just with my personal feeling and seeing the joy of the people around me, take it or leave it, but the (wild) world is waiting and you can only start helping each other when you meet.
