Why is it that Germany's economic growth is slowing down?

The reason for this is quite simple: most people have never actually been taught how to conduct leadership based on EQ.

Many people still conduct leadership based upon delegation rather than empowerment. 'Management through delegation' focuses on functionality and technicality, contrary to 'management through empowerment', which focuses on people and their talents. Approximately only 10% of managers have completed an education in the field of management. In other words, most people have never actually been taught how to conduct leadership based on EQ.

The answer is not to acquire more knowledge about leadership, but rather, to provide excellent training to the managers. Consequently, stimulating and facilitating the development of their employees to become more successful through innovation itself.

Well, to become a leader, I think, one needs first to be a good manager. That? obstacle #1 for many. You need an environment that let? you be a good manager and / or train you to become one. I think, with more ?good“ managers, we would succeed. Being a good leader is a different story. It needs experience, a small ego, personal maturity and from time to time, a good mentor / coach. You can′t start with empowerment, when delegation skills are missing. You can not empower an organisation, when delegation seems like ?rocket science“. Make one step after the other; help people to gain experience and safety in their environment. And do not ask every manager to be a leader. Being a leader might be too big for many and is out of scope of their energy / talent... If everybody wants to be a ?leader“, who is wearing the blue collar? ;-)
