Generation Z is sending a strong message that the existing hierarchy based corporate structure is outdated and can-do-without. The future of an organization is a flat. It will be assignment/responsibility-based system/structure, where every individual in the organization is a peer with different responsibilities, and will "own" their individual assignment and accountable to the responsibility itself. No boss, no subordinate. Compensations will be based on the assignment/responsibility.
