Why?

At 43 years of age I have finally found my WHY. 

I have been there and done it before but it wasn’t my WHY. It was a crusade to increase financial wealth. Short term and shallow thinking were key factors in my demise back then.

This time round financial wealth is merely going to be a by product of everything I do. Yes it’s crucial and it will happen. However the reason I am doing what I do know is to make a genuine difference to the world. That said i would be lying if i said i didn't want to create financial freedom for my children's children children. I want to and will achieve generational success levels.

That sounds quite egotistical or airy fairy. I mean I want to make a difference in the world through my relationships with other people. Collaboration. I can only do a little on my own and recognise together we can do a lot. 

This past year has been an amazing one, I have grown personally and professionally so much. I put that down to surrounding myself and building a network of likeminded people. A rising tide raises all ships they say. It’s true. 

My closest circle are full of people on a Ismail right upward trajectory and it only motivates and inspires me everyday. I thank them all for that & they know who they are. 

I’m bang in the middle of a transition period of turning my passion into a business. In fact more than a business but a way of life. I want this life. 

It’s scary as I don’t have all the answers and go forward somewhat lacking in knowledge in some areas. I’m not overly strategic and I don’t want to be. However I realise the importance of it and I do listen. 

We are developing an interactive website and designing a new logo. I want it to reflect my values and vision for THINK Network. It’s about empowering people to better versions of themselves in life, work , business and career. It’s about reaching a global audience and adding genuine value to our attendees. I want to take this around the world and touch as many people as i can , as we can. 

As I endeavour to scale up no doubt collaboration becomes more important than ever. Inviting inward investment, stakeholders in the business. When this happens it must be people who are like minded and share my belief and passion. Not people in to just for the money. Yes that’s important but this is way more than that. 

I honestly can visualise THINK Network having 1 or 2 international events in 2020. This will put us on the radar of everyone. By 2021 we will be recognised as the new

kid on the block with the potential to rival the leading self empowering speaking /business movements. By end of 2022 we will be among the top tier and by 2023 we will be number 1.

That’s my 3.5 year vision right there. 

The goal now is to make that happen. And it will for all the above reasons and ways I have already mentioned.
