A life without friendship is a life without significance. The most dangerous and miserable day in your life is the day you have no desire to befriend anyone.
When you cut yourself off from worthy friendships, you naturally begin to die emotionally, spiritually, financially, socially, and physically.
3 REASONS YOU NEED FRIENDSHIP
You were created to live with friendship for three reasons.
1) Your Function.
Everything God created was created to live by friendship. Plants need soil. Fishes need water.
Even in the womb, it is the placenta of the mother that connects to the umbilical cord of her baby through which oxygen, nutrients and other metabolic activities take place.
It is through this connection or friendship between the mother and the baby that keeps the baby alive in the womb. Anything that lives without friendship naturally dies.
"... for without me ye can do nothing." (John 15:5). You're as healthy as the quality of your friendships.
2) Your Focus.
Everything you're doing today will require a friendship with either God, yourself or others to survive. Friendship will play a key role for everything you want to achieve in life.
3) Your Future.
Everything you'll ever become or not become in life will be traceable to the quality of your friendships.
The old Africa proverb says, "If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go with someone." Living without friendship limits everything you could have in life. Build worthy friendships.
