Why Franchising
Want to set up in business - so why should you consider a franchise ? Getting into business for yourself can be a scary venture into the unknown - do i have the right price, am i in the right place, is there a demand for my product or service, what is the competition like? All business has some risk attached but the key is to mitigate as much risk as possible to improve the certainty of success. Business Format Franchising enables you to follow an already trodden path where generally the market research has been done, the sensitivity analysis of the Brand , the product and the price has proven results but most of all the Franchisor has tested the model and has accounts to prove the marketing pitch. Does a franchise guarantee success ? No ! because the franchisor has the tried and tested model but one of the key factors is your enthusiasm and effort. In order to ensure you can maintain your enthusiasm you need to enjoy what you do and so consider what it is about a franchise offering that attracts you. Do you already have a skill that is transferable to your new venture or does the franchisor have a sound training package which can give you the skills you need. Remember that when you are taking on a Franchise you are taking on the right to use someone else's Brand so there will be some restrictions but these should be seen as positives because at the end of the day the franchisor becomes successful by making you successful. If the thought of getting into business for yourself but not by yourself is attractive then i would urge you to look around at whats on offer whilst interest rates are low and the economy is recovering. there really is no better time. At Sustain Solar we offer a low cost entry franchise model with full training for those interested in making the most of this flourishing market by installing PV systems across the UK. Yes this is a blatant sales pitch for Sustain Solar because we know it works but its not for everyone. Becoming part of a franchise means you have to be right for the franchisor just as much as the franchise has to be right for you. If you would like to know more about joining a franchise then talk to our Franchise manager Michael Edwards for impartial no obligation advice.

A double car port could add 4kWp to an installation - and could be ideal where roof mounted PV is considered inappropriate - structurally, aesthetically, or just over shadowing of poor orientation... Solar Car Port structures have to meet all the UK guidelines for permanent structures and to comply with EN1090 and be CE marked. [email protected]
