Why fly?

Why fly? Flying encourages the leadership skills most will tell us: risk taking, energy, sustainability, agility. You can probably think of a few more. My friend and leadership developer, Robert Pizzini, the CEO of iFly Va Beach, provides the best opportunity to fly.
A favorite place for networking events brought the members of Hampton on site last week. Bob, best-selling author of Elevate Your Leadership, uses his intense desire to support business owners uses his creative leadership to provide not only a great facility for flying but also for his leadership programs.
Last week leadership seemed to be my theme. We also had an awesome SEVA Women in Leadership Roundtable where Kat Robinson and I led the group through a discussion focused on how to assess the leadership skills of ourselves and those in our organizations. One outcome is that there is a strong interest by several solepreneurs to conduct a 360 assessment customized for assessing leadership skills. ?I founded SEVA in 2021 as a virtual response to the lost time women experienced due to the pandemic. We still meet virtually by Zoom monthly and now we also offer a quarterly live networking and discussion.
And then there was the Write On! Group. I founded this group way before the pandemic as I could not find a local group which focused solely on nonfiction. We enjoyed hearing author and scientist Abbey Pachter share her insights in writing her book, A Monarch in Winter.
As we all know, the butterfly’s transformation has much to do with leadership. Abbey inspired to dig in this week for another chapter of my first book, Gifting Leadership for Women in Want to Do More.
Isn’t it time to fly in whatever way is you.
