Why the Final Walk-through is so Important
When you’re buying a home, the sale is not complete until you close. The final walk-through allows a buyer verify the home was left in substantially the same condition as it was in when the offer was made. However, some buyers opt to forego the final walk-through, which can lead to problems after closing, which could have been easily avoided. We have found some interesting surprises at final walk-throughs over the years, such as fancy fixtures swapped out for cheap ones, or trash and debris left throughout the entire home.
