1 年According to me, we don't fear death. We fear how we will meet death. We don't want it to be painful, each of us out there wants to meet death in peace. So we don't have to suffer in pain and can bid adieu to this body and planet with ease. Joshua Miller

1 年For me, I am thankful that I have had a relatively long and comfortable life. 1. I am student of military history and I know of so many that sacrificed their young lives. 2. My primary (worldly) concern is that my family is secure when I depart. By reflecting on item 1, and ensuring item 2, I am more at peace with the inevitable and have become focused on what really matters: enjoying time with my family.

1 年Thank you for raising this topic about dying and asking for other's thoughts on it. When I was 30, I prayed for God to save me. God gave me the faith to believe that His Son, Jesus, died for my sins and rose from the dead. Since God saved me, I do not fear death anymore because I know I that when I die, I am going to be with Jesus. 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 "...that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures," Romans 10: 9 "because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised from the dead, you will be saved."
