Is a United States of Europe Coming?
Yes, and it’s happening faster than anyone expected.
?? Military Integration: The EU is already consolidating its defense industry and discussing an independent European army. If Trump undermines NATO further, the EU will have no choice but to unify militarily, and I guess that decision has been taken anyway.
?? Economic Independence: The EU is actively de-dollarizing, working to reduce reliance on U.S. trade and financial systems. This includes strengthening the euro, increasing trade with Asia, and investing in energy independence, which may well mean becoming visibly friendly again with Russia.
?? Political Centralization: With Trump’s America acting more like an opponent than an ally, the EU is fast-tracking political integration. The push for an EU superstate is gaining momentum. Thanks, Donald.
What Would a United States of Europe Look Like?
If the EU fully integrates, we could see:
It won’t happen overnight, but Trump is accelerating the process. Now that he U.S. has abandoned Europe, Europe is Acting. The result? An existing superpower that woke up and rivals with both the U.S. and China.
The Final Irony: Did Trump Create His Biggest Competitor?
Trump’s?"America First"?approach was meant to strengthen the U.S., but in reality, it’s?pushing Europe to unite,?creating a direct competitor. Instead of keeping Europe politically and militarily weak and dependent, Trump’s policies may?force the birth of the strongest European bloc in history.
If a United States of Europe emerges, it will be because Trump made it.

You write as though you count in all of this . My world seems to be different than yours my concern is, will there be gas for my car, will I be able to feed my family, will I be safe at home. Will my business survive, will there be healthcare when I need it. Small amenities in life , because I am a worker bee, like 90% of the US population is. Everything you posted you can’t effect directly, you can’t change. No matter what is done you have to live with the outcome. So even though your posting is extensive and well presented , what are you going to do about it? Directly? Or are you just trying to inspire conversation? If you do that what exactly do you feel will be the outcome come? And will this do anything? I personally won’t debate any of your numbers I am sure they are well google researched. I read your post and say wow that’s a lot of info, but what can I do with that info… absolutely nothing personally, I can’t call up President Trump and say hey I read this guys post and I don’t think you should ghost Europe. What do you think, sir?

1 周I am reminded of the powerful pitch by Helmut Kohl urging European States to unite. One notable instance when Helmut Kohl urged European states to unite was during a speech at the CDU party conference in 1976. He emphasized the importance of European integration and spoke on behalf of "young European citizens," advocating for political and economic unification of Europe. What the world needs is a big hearted leader like him to pull us out of the current mess André.
