EPIC Passive Subsurface Irrigation, also known as EPIC, is a type of buried irrigation apparatus in which water is delivered directly to the root zone of plants through capillary rise physics of sand towards the surface of the soil. There are several benefits to using EPIC subsurface irrigation compared to traditional surface irrigation methods:

In traditional irrigation, holes or emitters would instantly get clogged which doesn't allow such solutions to be offered.
