Why Engineers are weak in Pakistan?

Pakistan Engineering Council There is huge number of engineers enrolled in PMA, CSA, PPSA, and other reputed institutes, and they are not able to continue his engineering cadre due weak monitoring and policies of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Need to collect all databases and take them on board to strengthen the PEC policies and monitoring

There is a weak link between the industries (Government/non-Government) and engineering faculties/university of the Pakistan, need to strengthen it by universities and also urging Higher Education Commission (HEC) to take part in this activity with PEC

Need to engage the stakeholders with universities and PEC, so that a they formulate a dynamic salary structure (for trainee to experienced) with perks which implement equally all across Pakistan (Private and Government sector) and PEC will monitor it on monthly basis and need implementation all across Pakistan, so that engineers know his minimum salary according to his experience while getting hired by any MNC, private firm, government, etc.

PEC urges HEC to allow a Graduate Engineer with minimum 10 years of field experience to educate the engineering faculty students with his exposure and skills

PEC must avoid the promotion of international certification to used in local industries as one engineer has studied the subject in his engineering curriculum then PEC have to give the weight to the subject instead of international certification

PEC make sure the standard of engineering studies comparable and competent to international standard so that these expensive international certifications may be avoided

PEC also make sure its compliance and implementation all across Pakistan with firms local, international, MNCs, etc.

Screening of Engineers during their study must be like doctors, CA, etc. So that they would able to address the industry problem instantly

PEC need to collaborate with bodies like ASTM, ASME, ASHER, AISI, API, NACE, ISO, CE, BS, CISCO, PPRA, etc. and design a competency based international certificate and having recognition internationally/globally

PEC must collaborate with countries USA, Europe, Australia, and neighboring countries on G2G and design a frame work so that local experience may account for engineers if he/she wants to work internationally and also phase a methodology for transfer of technology, research and development

In all organization related to Technical/engineering sectors must have maximum number of engineers in all the departments/sections expect accounts, finance, HR and admin, this has to be implemented by the PEC

In all government institute related to technical/engineering/service sectors, administrative post must be link to engineers and all discipline engineers will eligible for it equally and considered them on top priority

Engineers have permits for free registration of executive clubs of Pakistan (local/government/private), so PEC would able to energized, motivate the engineers to play its role in Pakistan Economy Development
