There are 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments and 19 muscles and tendons in one single human foot. The 52 bones in your feet make up approximately 25 per cent of all the bones in your body. The bones located between the toes and the ankle bones are known as the metatarsals (or metatarsus).
