Why eFlowback is the future

Innovation is critical to our customers as well as to EnerCorp’s business; that’s why we focus so many resources and so much time on developing new solutions to help our clients optimize operations at the wellsite.

Just this week, we announced the launch of our latest endeavor, eFlowback, a completely autonomous solution for flowback and sand management that reduces equipment footprint, minimizes personnel costs, improves job site safety, and decreases emissions.

If it sounds like something from the future, you’re not too far off. In fact, our project name for eFlowback was “Job Site of the Future” during the product development process because of how advanced the technology really is.

Let’s take a look at how eFlowback works

There are many separate components that make up the eFlowback technology. However, it’s vital to note that these “point solutions” need to work together as a complete digital flowback ecosystem in order to generate the kind of value our clients need to realize. While individual units can certainly function effectively on their own, when they are brought together as an integrated solution, they create results that cannot be seen in any other way.

Here is what you’ll find in eFlowback:

  • Sahara Advanced Cyclone: This is the linchpin of eFlowback. Our industry-leading sand management technology typically removes over 98.5% of sand from your production stream — more than any other cyclone on the market. Thanks to the Sahara, operators can flow production directly into their facility without having to worry about any damage.
  • Automated Choke Manifold: After production goes through the Sahara, it flows to the Automated Choke Manifold — which removes the need to manually adjust the choke. With eFlowback, operators can follow their choke schedule or make any needed adjustments autonomously and remotely.?
  • Automated Blowdown Unit: With a patent-pending leak detection system, the Automated Blowdown Unit eliminates safety concerns and reduces environmental exposure. It features multiple backup valves to ensure isolation, and can detect washed out or stuck valves in order to service them before any uncontrolled releases occur.?
  • Sand Quantification Unit: Instead of manually weighing sand or just estimating and getting inaccurate results, the Sand Quantification Unit measures and reports precise weights. This helps operators plan next steps for their flowback operations.
  • Tank Level Monitoring System: Using laser level detection to measure the level of fluids in the open top tank, operators can remotely monitor fluid levels. Additionally, the system sends an alert when it’s time to call a vacuum truck to remove the fluid from the tank.
  • Automated Control Unit: The brain and heart of the entire eFlowback ecosystem, the Automated Control Unit provides power, air, and control logic to all point solutions.? With an intuitive user interface, it is easy to use on site and remotely.?
  • Cloud-Based Software: Remote access to the eFlowback system is essential, so we use highly secure cloud-based software to provide operators and our team with access to the job site technology. Operators can monitor, review, and control each device with ease.

Want to see eFlowback in action?

I get it — it’s hard to imagine a completely autonomous job site — that is also highly effective, environmentally secure, and safe.?

At EnerCorp, we’re incredibly proud to have developed such an innovative and forward-looking solution. However, we didn’t do it alone — eFlowback was developed in collaboration with bpx energy. Take a look at this announcement to learn why bpx energy made a strategic commitment to use eFlowback exclusively through 2022: https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/enercorp-engineered-solutions-announces-the-launch-of-pioneering-eflowback-technology-developed-in-collaboration-with-bpx-energy-301340473.html
