Why Dynamics 365 Business Central Wins the hearts and Minds of the most successful Biz App ISV's - Intro

I love ISV's - I really do. I love how they create a vision of how a solution should look like and how they transform that into execution. It might be in construction (hey 4PS ), retail (hey LS Retail, an Aptos Company and NaviPartner ), funeral business (hey Funeral 365 ), Cannabis (hey 365 Cannabis ), printing (hey PrintVis ), and many more trust on the technology of Dynamics 365 Business central and on its partner strategy.

The most successful ISV's are using Dynamics 365 Business Central. And I know why.

My next 5 blogs will center around why Dynamics Business Central is the preferred platform choice for the most successful SMB Business Application ISV's. I know, there's a lot Microsoft could do better but don't forget to see the big picture here: Microsoft is a huge ship and still, the Dynamics team is bringing new functionality every 6 months using - and read this carefully - the work of 1000's of other Microsoft developers. You might think, just 1000's? Is that it? No that's not 'it' but I can't mention how many developers work at Microsoft but let me assure you: it's a LOT (really a lot). And all of these developers are developing technologies that the Dynamics 365 Business Central Team can tap into: Azure Infrastructure, Azure Services (hundreds flying around), Azure integration services, Microsoft Graph, Excel, CoPilot, and so on. So Microsoft is creating scalability by using not only it's customer base but also it's other productivity solutions.

Anyway, where was I? Yes, why Dynamics 365 is the preferred platform for the most successful SMB business application ISV's. I will focus on 6 areas where I am convinced that Business Central is uniquely positioned.

If you believe I am missing certain topics, please let me know. I do realize some might start on 'detailed' missing features (localization anyone?) and that might be very true but in the big picture, let's be honest here: that's not what I would bet my company upon.
