Why Don’t You Think You Can Have It All?

Why Don’t You Think You Can Have It All?

Where did this come from?

At what point in your life did you start to believe that having it all was unattainable?

I’ll tell you when.

It’s when you believed “having it all” was the wrong thing.

It’s when you started to believe that “having it all” meant the great job, the great income, the great possessions at the expense of having a good lifestyle, meaningful relationships. and an abundance of time.

Guess what?

You can have all of these things and more. I promise you.

I get criticized for this belief every single day.

Every time I say I don’t have to work more than 4 hours a day and can make a very large sum of money, the comments come flying in.

People literally don’t believe me.

They tell me I’m likely some kind of MLM schemer.

They tell me that my money is definitely inherited.

They assume that I stole the money in some way.

They assume that I’m single and have no family.

I used to care about these comments and I used to look at them as a poor reflection of myself.

Nowadays I just feel sorry for the people making them.

Because for whatever reason they are completely stuck with the notion that to “have it all” means to make a massive sacrifice that usually means hurting themselves or others.

Yeah well, I just don’t have time for that kind of attitude anymore.

I’m happily married, have two amazing boys, enjoy all the perks of having more money than I need and an abundance of time in my life.

I used to feel guilty about this. Now I just want to make sure as many people believe it’s possible as I can.

Get unstuck.

Start with the idea of working smart and efficiently (not hard and long) can not only give you the financial freedom you need but also the time you want as well.

If that’s where you focus all along and do everything you can to enforce that focus, that’s the direction you’ll go.

Nat Bergman thank you for sharing. It’s truly sad how others get upset with one that may prosper more than them. I can remember reading about the talents in the Bible and those that multiplied and increased where those that were obedient to step out and take action and not hide theirs nor complain about what another man has. I could go on. You stay focused on your calling and purpose and hopefully the nae sayers will catch on to the positive flow of energy.
