Why donations are important?

  Donations are an integral part of every community. Charities change the lives of people in need every day with even the smallest amount making a large difference in the lives of the one who are away from the serenity of life. We don’t live in a perfect world, and there’s never going to be a perfect time to give- but there are always people out there in need of help.

Now the question is why should I donate and what makes it important for me? Here I can conclude three reasons that makes very important for me. These reasons make charity or donations regardless of donation size, an integral part of my life. I believe without donations it will be difficult to restore lives. 

Bring more meaning to your life:

There is a huge difference between living happy life and living meaningful happy life

“People commit suicide because they're unhappy, right? Wrong. They do it because they lack meaning.”

Meaningfulness is linked to something that expresses and reflects the self doing that is meaningfulness, in particular to doing positive things for others spreading smiles on someone’s face.

In day to day life we are so busy in earning and trying to live happily but watching some faces out of trouble happy is what brings meaning to your life.

A charitable organization is on the field to help people but they need all the help they can get from us When we donate money to a charity we create opportunities to meet new people who believe in the same cause that inspires us and making real impact of those causes can infuse more meaning to one’s life.

Sense of satisfaction

It has been proven in a research that giving to other people makes you feel good. The feeling of satisfaction that one gets after helping someone is hard to replicate with any other type of activity or endeavour. Giving to others not only helps a person to cope up with their own problems but also build self esteem, self confidence and self worth which will help a person to tackle its problems and make him more confident in different social situations.

 Make a difference

Donating to charity is a perfect opportunity to make a difference in the world. By making a difference to someone’s life, you are leaving behind a legacy. We are making a statement that our life is worthwhile by fulfilling our responsibility to care for less fortunate people and by making contribution to society by donating spare time, goods and money.
