Why does the Twin flame runner get to hide their feelings?

The runner is usually the divine masculine. The dm has learned how to mask feelings his whole life. He also has probably made some mistakes by being able to mask his feelings and therefore can't face himself in the mirror. The df is guilty of trying to force the connection but not facing her troubles in the real world. Once the dm has made amends and the df has control of her life, they can be harmonious.
