Why Does Our Brain Unload At Bedtime?
It has happened to us all at some point, you rush around during the day, busy with work and family, that we often don’t get time to unwind until we lay our head on the pillow. Then, our brain seems to come alive. With things that are worrying us, things on our mind, keeping us up at night. So how do we deal with this?
There are things we can do, mind exercises to help relax us in the evening. I found this article, which talks more on the subject. You can take a look here - https://ow.ly/GQ2E0
Do you struggle getting off to sleep? How does it affect your sleep? What additional tips would you give someone?

10 年Years ago I noticed that I was having a hard time with this. I addressed the issue by downloading an app for my phone that plays "white noise" and has a timer so it will shut off after an hour. I also have developed a habit of listening to podcasts when I get into bed. I stick to podcasts with light subject matter (non work-related). I find the podcasts divert my attention/thoughts from the "things that keep me up at night", and allow me to fall asleep within 10-15 minutes. Great post Sara, thanks for sharing!

10 年"What" rather than "why" A number of factors starting with how we are wired, the nature of our education system, our language structure, and how our unconscious mind is leveraged by external sources. Essentially we relax in the evening, the mind is unfettered with visual and auditory stimulation and the unconscious mind responds to the pressure, real or imagined of our percieved history. It is a bit more complicated than that but space is limited on the comment boxes
