Why do you write and illustrate?

As a starting author and illustrator, where my work is dedicated to sparking the imagination of children between the ages of 4 and 8. Many people ask me: Why do you write and illustrate?

Having collected many stories and funny moments from my own life and adventures, a new unlimited stream of inspiration has been given to me. This inspiration comes from the unlimited supply of creativity of my now 7 year old daughter.

Giving me the chance to creates vibrant, heartwarming stories that celebrate the power of imagination, curiosity, and the joy of storytelling. Together with my daughter, we bring our magical tales to life, infusing each story with elements from their favorite cartoons, fairy tales, daily adventures, and the funny moments we encounter.

As a storyteller, I'm very passionate about creating books that resonate with children and parents alike. With fun stories with an important learning pointers included and often revolve around themes of friendship, adventure, and self-discovery. To give this stories a chance to inspire I illustrate myself or work with other talented illustrators so create characters, that leap off the page and inspire young readers to explore their own creative minds.

I'm a strong believer that imagination is a superpower, capable of transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. Showing and spreading this message through my books and guest lecturers at primary schools.
