First, we need to know why there is an oxide scale.?The production of oxide scale is mainly due to the chemical reaction of metal materials with oxygen in the air at high temperatures to form oxides. In metallurgical engineering, especially during the heating process of steel, iron reacts chemically with oxygen or the products of fuel combustion (such as CO2, H2O steam, etc.), thereby forming an oxide layer, that is, oxide scale, on the metal surface.
In the phosphorus removal machine system, the high-pressure water generated by the high-pressure water pump enters the phosphorus removal machine nozzle. Under the action of the nozzle, high-pressure water forms a fan-shaped water beam with great impact and is sprayed onto the surface of the steel billet (or intermediate billet). Under the action of this high-pressure fan-shaped water jet beam, the iron oxide scale has experienced the process of being cut, rapidly cooling and shrinking, peeling off from the base material, and being washed away from the surface of the steel billet (or intermediate billet), thereby removing the iron oxide scale.
