As educators we are used to seeing pretty instant results. Pupils leave our classroom with more knowledge than when they entered it. We see that in their work, the answers to our questions and their confidence and smiles.
But the effectiveness of staff wellbeing can be so much harder to track and then we get a bit despondent. Is it working? Is it worth it?
There are a few indicators you can look out for
If these are missing then you might need to look harder at what you are offering, but don't worry that is something I can help you with, but more of that later.?
For now I want to reassure you that it is worth it. Even if all you've done so far is to read this newsletter, that's a step in the right direction.?I have compiled a collection of resources that will help you boost you and your staff's wellbeing at the end of this term and well into 2023. It has probably been on your to do list all of this year, but as life gets busier and busier it has been bumped down the list.
