Why do we "Overthink"?

Last week I asked this question(see the image below); the funny part is I already had a pretty good idea of who would emerge as the winner.
Why do we overthink?
There are many ways this can be answered and many reasons we overthink.
What I find the most important of all is because we don't know or know very little about,
To understand why we 'overthink' let's get into,
What is "thinking" basically?
I came across one of the best and simplest definitions of thinking in the book "Awaken The Giant Within.", by Tony Robbins.
Thinking itself is nothing?but the process of asking and answering questions; if after reading this, you are thinking, That's true, or that's not true before you reached that conclusion, you had to ask yourself a question, whether consciously or unconsciously, "Is that true"?
If you are thinking, I don't know, I need to give it some time to think about it; what you are saying is, I need to ask more questions about it, I need to consider it for a moment. As you will start considering it, you will begin to question it.
Thinking itself is nothing but the process of asking and answering questions.
We need to understand that, what we do, day in and day out, is ask and answer questions.
The simplest way to stop overthinking is to become aware of the habitual questions you are asking.
Let's understand this by example,
Why did it happen to me? VS How can I turn this around?
Am I not good enough? VS What's so great about me?

Why is it taking so long? VS What can I do to enjoy the process?
Same situations, different questions,
Can you make a note of what's happening here?
Questions immediately change what we're focusing on and, therefore, how we feel.
Questions are the laser of human consciousness(Literally like a torch).
They concentrate our focus and determine how we feel, which determines what we do, which again determines how we feel.
It's a loop.
Ask yourself, what are your habitual questions?
The quality of your life depends on the quality of your questions.
Questions are the wake-up call to our giant capacities.
Remember, your brain, like the genie, will give you whatever you ask of it. So be careful what you ask for—whatever you look for, you'll find.
Here are some powerful questions to supercharge your day and your thinking.
1. What am I happy about in my life now? (What about that makes me happy? How does that make me feel? )
2.) What am I enjoying most in my life right now? (What about that do I enjoy? How does that make me feel?)
3. What am I committed to in my life right now?
P.S. - I am offering a free webinar on 'How to stop Overthinking" to 3 people; if you are up for it, DM or comment "Peace." :)
