Why do we need to be reminded?

I have always wondered why we as a human race need to be reminded every year that good needs to triumph over evil. Why do we need to be reminded every year that beginnings, middles, and the end are all worthy of being celebrated, when we already know?

Well, we forget, we fail, we lose. As individuals, as a community, as a race!

It is why we need Dussehra to come by every year. To remind us that we can be better and that only good will win over evil.

We all need reminders, even when we think we know everything! We need reminders to learn new things, we need reminders to form habits.

This Dussehra, let’s win the war against mediocrity, finish our bucket lists, contribute to goodness, reflect on the learnings of the past year, and close the loop.
