Why do we need Expectation in our lives or in business today?

Why do we need Expectation in our lives or in business today?

Why do we need Expectation in our lives or in business today?

Do we need Expectation in our businesses from a place of Leadership?

Do we need Expectation in our businesses from our team members?

Why do we need Expectation at all in life itself?

This what William J. Mathias, Jr. said on Coffee with Chris LinkedIn Audio event this past Thursday ??????????????????

I hold high expectations for myself to grow and evolve but release those expectations for others. Expectations are subjective and unique to the individual who holds them. We must be mindful not to confuse them with standards, which are objective and measurable.

No expectation simply means allowing people to find their own path. It’s neutral.

A shared framework, though, provides clarity and fosters trust, ensuring alignment without pressure. This balance allows space for personal growth while reinforcing trust and purpose, free from the need for external validation.

learn, grow, and evolve. always!

And here is some powerful views about Expectations ????????????????

Great question, my friend Chris Berryman ... Expectations serve as the compass guiding our actions and decisions. In business, leaders set expectations to establish clear goals, foster accountability, and inspire their teams. Team members, in turn, rely on expectations to understand their roles, responsibilities, and the standards by which they will be evaluated. This mutual understanding drives productivity, collaboration, and ultimately, success. In our personal lives, expectations shape our aspirations, relationships, and overall sense of fulfillment. They motivate us to strive for improvement, set priorities, and build meaningful connections. While unrealistic or excessive expectations can lead to disappointment, well-defined and communicated expectations provide a framework for growth, achievement, and a sense of purpose.
