Why Do We Fall?

Why Do We Fall?

In the movie Batman Begins, there is a scene where Bruce Wayne and Alfred have just escaped, the Wayne Mansion is burning down and Bruce is clearly injured. He has failed his family name and failed to save Gotham from corruption. It is a low point for Bruce and a clear breaking point.

It is in this moment that Alfred looks at Bruce and asks him: “Why do we fall?…So we can learn to get back up”

Those powerful words sum up Greatness. Those who seek out greatness are able to reframe the feeling of failure into an opportunity to grow and get stronger.

Each time we fall, we are given an opportunity to rise up and get stronger from the experience. Without falling, we would never learn our true strength and abilities.

It is important to view failure for what it is: a measurement of your progress thus far. Failing means you have reached your current limit of capabilities. That does not mean you have to stay at that level. When you learn to pick yourself up, you learn that you can surpass that previous mark and reach new heights.

When you seek out greatness, you will constantly be reaching your limits and ceilings. You will fall. It is up to you to keep getting up until you break through and get to the next challenge.

Use your experiences to grow and learn how to improve. Don’t let them define you.

I fall to lure my enemies in close, so I can crush them completely.

Falling...it happens Why does a child crawl.. to stand up. It is inherent in our dna or deeper. Every child will strive to stand...Is it from watching others around us or an inner urge? Like breathing; somethings we just. Thank you gravity for making it all possible.
