Why Do We Fail in Our Leadership Roles So Often

Why Do We Fail in Our Leadership Roles So Often

We “see & view” more than ever before but still we are blind to so many things that matter to humanity.?

We “hear & perceive” so many things but still we are unhearing of the voices that matter to mankind.?

We “read & peruse” so many books but still we are ignorant of the issues that concern the people.?

In the process of seeing, hearing and reading we have collected more information than any age in human history but still we lack the resolve to solve many problems of the society.?

What I realise is that it is not the lack of knowledge or the information but the lack of concern or may I say the lack of feeling for the consciousness of the kind .

?

We humans regardless of the five senses are not able to comprehend in totality the expectations of our suffering humanity.?

What may be the reason ??

The simple reason is that we are forgetting the most important “sense" we have apart from the five senses…our heart.?

That is the reason we often say that “ it is not the eyes that are blind but the heart”.?

A poet has so elegently summarised the entire discourse through this couplet

“Dil-E-Beena Bhi Kar Khuda Se Talab

Ankh Ka Noor Dil Ka Noor Nahin”

“Pray God to grant an illuminated heart

??For sight and light are things apart”.

I hope you agree with me ?

Love this and it is so very much true that we pose our selves indifferent and insensitive to the happenings in our surroundings. A concerning heart is very important for the eyes and the ears to be sensitive to what they see and hear. Beautiful article and I am reposting it. Keep enlightening us with such excellent eye opener writings.

Your reflection on our information-saturated age highlights a crucial insight: despite our unprecedented access to knowledge, we often fail to address societal issues effectively due to a lack of emotional connection and empathy. The poet's couplet emphasizes that true understanding and action come from an illuminated heart, not just the senses. Your article urges us to recognize that while we see, hear, and read more than ever, it's our ability to feel and empathize that truly matters for addressing humanity's challenges.
