5 Years ago today I was living in Singapore, living like a King, rapidly expanding my companies footprint into South East Asia ... 

We were hitting Record Sales - Quarter on Quarter as I trained my teams on new Digital Technology and helping them become Solution Sales Machines hungry for their own success and financial reward...

Everything looked amazing from the outside ... You could say I was living the Dream ... 

The problem was my Identity and Self Worth was directly attached to my Job Title, Business Achievements and Growing Bank Account ... This is what most high achieving Businessmen, Executives and Entrepreneurs strive for ... and "I had it all" ...

HOWEVER, I was totally disconnected from my true self, masking the Stress, Anxiety and negative self talk with Alcohol, Cigarettes and Food ...

I had everything I wanted yet for some reason "I wasn't Happy", "I wasn't Healthy" and "I wasn't Fulfilled"... instead of being the best version of myself , I was becoming the worst ...

I was constantly fooling myself that more Success, Wins and Money was the answer, and now being exposed to the Wealth and Money people were making in Singapore my self Judgement and Comparison reached a whole new level ...

With all the justification in the World I was slowly Sabotaging my life due to deep seeded unconscious FEAR...

FEAR of Failure.. FEAR of Success.. FEAR of being exposed as a fraud.. FEAR of having this success taken away from me... FEAR that I didn't deserve this amazing life..

Well guess what?

"What you focus on the Strongest will eventually come true" and all my FEARs came true as the parent company pulled all International expansion funding and the opportunity came to an end ...

Of course it wasn't my fault, how could it be ? My division was profitable, exceeding growth targets and was only getting started into a huge growth market ...

I was so blinded by my own B.S. the only solution was F@#K Corporate you don't deserve me I'm going back to Australia and starting my own business... And that's what I did ...

The next 12 months I used my skills to grow a successful Digital Marketing Consultancy and Agency ... Long story short the same behavior that played out in Singapore was repeating itself in Australia ... But this time I had no support, excuses or anything to blame but myself..

I had to face the reality of my own Fear, Self Sabotage and Self Worth issues, it was intense and all I could think to do was push it down and hope the feelings would past with the help of my good old friend Alcohol ...

This time it spiraled out of control and I had what I would describe as a Mental Breakdown that forced me to admit and seek help !!!

So back to the title:

"Why Do So Many Businessmen & Executives Feel Stuck & Unhappy"

Because the same thinking that helped them create their Success is the same thinking that is causing their unhappiness now ... They have worked hard, hustle & grind their way up the Corporate ladder or to Business success...

Yet deep down the behavior, neurological programming and belief systems that gave them the drive to achieve are run by Fear, Unworthiness and Not Feeling Good Enough ...

Most Men can't see this or choose to ignore it "Like I Did" because any sign Negativity or Vulnerability is a deep belief of showing Weakness... And our Mind thinks to be successful in Corporate or Business you cannot show weakness!!!

The truth is these successful Men are screaming out for approval that they didn't get as a child, they crave recognition from others so they feel Good Enough & Worthy ... There Wife are pulling away, after years of supporting them to pursue success and it never be good enough ... constantly moving the goal posts thinking that the next achievement will finally bring them happiness and fulfillment ...

This leads to destructive behavior, starting to resent their Position or Business, neglecting their health with addictions and bad habits, becoming disconnected from their Wife and Kids, but more importantly they are disconnected from themselves ...

They don't know who they are anymore, what they want and start losing motivation which is a very scary place to be for an over entrepreneurial Man ...

To many Men are on this path of self destruction and need to seek the right help before they lose what is the most important to them or end up sick from all the Stress and sabotage...
