Why do People Matter?

Why do People Matter?

Because we were created with a purpose.

Everyone carries something unique—gifts, experiences, and perspectives—that no one else has. We are not accidents. We are not insignificant. We are designed to love, build, encourage, and create. Whether we realize it or not, how we live our lives shapes the world around us. Even the smallest actions—a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, a moment of listening—can have a lasting impact.

We matter because we impact others, even in ways we don’t always see. Think about a time when someone spoke encouragement into your life just when you needed it. Did they know how much it meant to you? Probably not. But that’s the beauty of it—our impact often goes far beyond what we can measure. The way we show up in relationships, in our work, in our communities—it all counts.

We matter because we are connected. No one thrives alone. Life was never meant to be a solo journey. We were created to walk alongside one another, lift each other, offer strength when someone is weak, and celebrate when joy overflows. Our value isn’t just in what we do individually but in how we contribute to something greater than ourselves.
