Why do people cheat and how to identify such people sooner?

Is there anyone out there who was never cheated by anyone? I would love to know a person who has lived without any such experience.

I have come across many such people in my life and I may probably want to pursue Ph.D. in this subject .^_^. so here comes the question, why do people betray others, or why do they cheat?

I would like to list out few reasons why someone cheats another person or a group of people:-

1. Greed is the first and most important reason for someone to become a Bilk. There is no way you can stop an individual from not becoming Greedy. people have their ambitions and aspirations and to achieve a certain milestone in their life, they prefer to take the easy route. I know few organizations having thousands of SAP licenses, but none of their people use the ERP system. Greed can go viral across an entire organization or a country and every individual can become a Swindler. A couple of years down the line, organizations will be forced to implemented autonomous solutions to survive/grow. Trusting an ERP software where humans have to feed information will become completely outdated over the next few years.
2. Jealousy can also sometimes become the topmost reason for someone to become deceitful. Comparison is a common problem in countries like India. it starts from our Childhood when our parents continuously keep on comparing us with other kids whom they consider to be better than us. this habit of comparison results in long-term jealousy problems. once we educate others not to compare us with someone else, jealousy can be controlled to a certain extent.

3. Hatred or desire to take Revenge can be another reason to transform into a Hustler. An individual loses their sense when the feeling of Hatred or taking revenge gets sown in their heart. There can be reasons like getting abused publically or being insulted badly. We go mad when we remain anguished about someone for too long. One incident of Duryodhana's insult transformed into the whole of a Mahabharat. Most intelligent people tend to lose their heads when they are insulted.

1. Lust can be another reason for betrayal. In the corporate world, there are far more Lust stories than in college life. Be careful while dealing with people who approach you to satiate their lusty desires. it's no longer only Men approaching women to satisfy their lust, but Women at the top position in the corporate world have been cheating on men for a much longer time.

5. The genetics of some people are such that their first preference in every situation is a forgery. A poisonous snake will one day bite its owner. A Burmese python will eat up his owner one day. Some people are genetically similar to a Burmese python, they can never be trusted no matter whatsoever. it is extremely important to understand the background of such people. Do not assume that you being good to them will make them a good person. Corona did not spare anyone, People refuse to accept that they can be cheated or they have been cheated.

There can be many other reasons like Relationship or Love with another Unethical person, Inclination towards a certain Ideology desire to do something more adventurous to break the monotony, and so on.

Whatever may be the reason for a person to Cheat us, how do I figure out someone's intents before they execute their plans to hurt us?

Every time someone has cheated me, I've always gone back and reviewed why it happened and what could have I done to avoid being cheated? I've been amazed upon evaluating the reasons for all the treachery that has happened to me. Here's a list of the reasons, starting from the most important reason:-

i) Feedback or Warning: You had been warned by a known or an unknown person about the behavior of a person who ended up betraying you. Often we tend to ignore all such feedbacks and negative reviews of people with whom we get attached. it is our belief that the person can cheat anyone else in the world, but not me. Truth is that once a person becomes a serial offender, he/she continues to enjoy it. Because you love your Burmese python, doesn't mean he won't eat you. ^_^ . Companies now spend millions of rupees in background check of important resources before hiring. Time will come and background check will have to be done of each and every resource.

ii) Split personality: One thing common in every unethical person is their split personality behavior. they don't show consistency in their behavior. Such people pretend to be good in front and criticize others behind their back. They pretend to be your well-wisher, but their action is always opposite to what they speak.

iii) Insult or Abuse: Many times we end up having heated arguments with people and later on we tend to forget the words we used in that particular argument. The person on the receiving end tends to remember those words for a very very long time and then that person comes up with a proper plan to pull you down. It is extremely important to talk less and use our words carefully. The history of many countries has changed because some of the other rulers used abusive words for their colleagues and that resulted in a planned dethroning of such rulers.

There can be more reasons for someone to betray you and there can be many more ways to identify their intentions time in advance. The above information has come out of my personal experience, but there's no guarantee that I won't get conned in the near future :-)
