Why do most weight loss solutions and diets fail?

The answer? It's because they only focus on the technique.80% of losing weight is a mindset, and by that, I mean truly understand what is making you tick. 

How you think about about your life? What maybe you are not wholly aware of is that fact your thoughts and your beliefs are the driving force behind everything you do or don't do. 

Im guessing that up until this point in your life you have varying degrees of success with your weight loss and now you probably have formed a belief that you cant lose weight. 

You proclaim you have tried everything and nothing seems to work for you, right?

Wrong! All that it means is that you have tried a handful of methods half-heartedly and haven't tried the one thing that does work until now that is.

You will be able to achieve a remarkable result in your body, mind and health the minute you start mastering YOU.

You don't have to believe me right now because I want you to start believing in yourself. Now I know it sounds a bit woo woo and in this day and age self-belief and positive thinking are thrown around like confetti, but it is the truth nevertheless. 

The only reason you do not have excellent health and fitness with a body you are proud of is the fact that you don't believe you can achieve it.

This is how it works. 


  1. You buy into a belief and believe it be true, perhaps as a means of self-preservation. For example "I can't lose weight". This is a means of dissolving responsibility which you will learn more about.
  2. It would help if you then backed this belief up with your thinking, actions, and how you view your life. We, as humans inherently need to prove ourselves right.
  3. This means it's very likely that experience seems to back up your belief system. Like when you attempt a new fitness regime or diet, and it doesn't work out.
  4. This then reinforces your belief, and it grows stronger. "See, I told you so."

Do you get me?

A limiting belief is a belief that hinders your life instead of improving it.

These are the primary limiting beliefs that are possibly holding you back. 

  • You believe that you can't lose weight 
  • You believe that losing weight is hard
  • You believe you will never be able to eat or drink 'forbidden foods' ever again 
  • You believe you will be miserable in your pursuit of getting in shape

All of these are false. You don't have an issue with food, motivation. You are not lazy and useless, either. The only real problems you have right now is that you believe you are powerless. 

If I can get you to eat one healthy meal, you can eat a hundred, and the same goes for workouts if you do one you can complete as many as you like. 

So why then is it so difficult to do these things that will vastly improve our daily life?

I listen to people tell me their stories of why they struggle to lose body fat, and it usually goes something like this. 

Me: "Well, what solutions have you tried before?" 

Client: "I've tried everything, and nothing works."

Me: "Where do you think you are going wrong?"

Client: "I don't eat that much, but I eat the wrong things and the wrong times. If I mess up my diet, I feel like a failure and then eat more, and don't do training anymore for a while."

Me: Well how's that plan working out for you?

Client: (shocked) How do you mean?

Me: Well the way I see things is you have tried a handful of things half-assed instead of the putting your effort into one solution that works for you. And you think that you must have everything perfect or its completely useless. At the same time, you have been practising depression and got really good at it. So, hows it working out for you?

Client: It isn't working out for me! 

Me: Maybe it would be a good idea for you to try a different approach, how would you go about it? 

They then proceed to tell me a better plan, and I help them put it together. If I can get your pride involved through the process of a good idea that is your idea then, you will always be able to stick at it better.
