Why Do I Need A Coach?

Why Do I Need A Coach?

Why do you need a coach?

Now this is one of those questions that a lot of people are not sure about, even though they know that some of the most successful people in the world have coaches.

Do you still wonder how relevant a coach would be to your everyday life?

Now one of the misconceptions that people have is that a coach can fix you, sort out your problems and make everything OK … I wish this was true, but unfortunately it is not.

So lets start with what a coach actually is.

It is someone who facilitates development, by helping you identify and figure out what you really want to do, by asking you challenging questions and exploring your answers. ? Remember that WE ALL have the answers that we need inside of us, we sometimes just need help retrieving them.

Also, they help you define outcomes, create plans and focus on what you need to do to get there by accelerating your growth and success, giving you the support and aid you need, so you are not wasting your time and money.

This is done by creating a safe environment, where, you can identify existing beliefs, finding gaps between, where you are now and where you want to be, thus, being able to have clarity of the intention of your thoughts, so you are able to take definite actions to change your behaviours, through building structure, accountability and support.?

Here are 8 reasons, why, working with a coach can be beneficial and actually transform your life:

  1. Help you find direction – When you feel lost, which we all do at some point, by identifying your blind spots and what is holding you back, it is possible to find the clarity you need to live a fulfilled life.
  2. Help you reach your full potential – If you're not achieving the level of success you want, having a coach who might be able to help push you past your comfort zones into new heights where self-discovery lives at its fullest potential.
  3. Keep you focused – By having clarity about your specific goals, it is possible to break these down into actionable tasks that can help you focus on what is at hand and avoid distractions.
  4. Keep you accountable – By holding you accountable, you are able to keep moving forward in the right direction, without making excuses. ? It is harder to tell someone else you have not done something rather than tell yourself.
  5. Save you time and stress – A coach using their knowledge and experience will accelerate your success, meaning you will get to where you want to be faster than you would if you were on your own.? This not only saves you the time, but also any unnecessary stress of trying to work it out all alone.?
  6. Increase your confidence – If you have been struggling, you can easily become unmotivated and loose confidence. ? With the clarity and wins that you will get from working with a coach you will find that your confidence and motivation will grow immensely.
  7. Have a winning mindset – Mindset matters, more than people realise. ? By having a positive mindset and identifying as successful you will be amazed at what you are able to accomplish and achieve.
  8. Understand yourself better – Having found what is holding you back in your life, it is possible to dig deeper to analyse your strengths, weaknesses and areas of improvement. ? Being able to truly understand yourself and become the person you want to be.??

So, as you can see, a coach, will not give you the answers, but they will use powerful questions and techniques, so that YOU can find the right answer for you. ? I personally work holistically using tools like Life Coaching, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and business coaching methodologies, frameworks and techniques to help my clients, find the clarity and confidence, they need to live the Limitless Life that they desire and deserve.

I hope you have found this informative and insightful.
