Why Do I Need an Agent Now?? The Market is GREAT!

In 2008, the housing world came crashing down. Home values plummeted and homeowners lost much – if not all – of the equity they had accrued.

Some of them lost their homes. Others had to sell in depressed market conditions.

Back then, they needed Realtors. They needed the 2,000-person sales force the Multiple Listing Service provided.

Today, the real estate market is opposite of the four years after 2008. Now, sellers pore over pages of Purchase Agreements offering more than full price and decide which one gives them the best deal. The buyers who lose time after time wind up dejected and frustrated, along with their agents.

Some sellers offer their home For Sale by Owner and are thrilled when a buyer offers full price (even though the seller didn’t know the real value of their home and left tens of thousands of dollars on the table.) Buyers grab at FSBO’s thinking they are getting a good deal; they believe they are saving the commission. Unfortunately, so does the Seller.

In this feeding-frenzy real estate market, both Buyers AND Sellers need the guidance of an experienced, knowledgeable Realtor more than ever. A top-notch Realtor knows the best way to create excitement BEFORE the showings begin, how to price it “on the bridge” for maximum exposure on the internet, how to manage multiple offers, and, for buyers, how to WIN in multiple offer situations.

Just imagine if you could get the agent who teaches OTHER agents those techniques for about the same price as the others? You know, somebody with 30 years’ experience and more than 750 transactions under his belt? An agent who has earned numerous designations – Associate Broker, Graduate, Realtor’s Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Electronic Marketing Professional (e-PRO), Inducted into RE/MAX International Hall of Fame (2004), Master Sales Society (2013) and Ninja Selling Skills (2014).
