Why Do Great Companies Make Bad Products?

There isn't really one simple answer to why great companies make bad products. However, there are some patterns that I've seen in my time as a designer. My intention is not to bash these companies. I've had my fair share of product design failures (which I've covered in other videos/articles), so I understand as much as anyone how difficult product development really is.
