McDonald’s uses a combination of the following pricing strategies:

·        Bundle pricing strategy

·        Psychological pricing strategy

In the bundle pricing strategy, McDonald’s offers meals and other product bundles for prices that are discounted, compared to purchasing each item separately. For example, customers can purchase a Happy Meal or an Extra Value Meal to optimize cost and product value. On the other hand, in psychological pricing, the company uses prices that appear significantly more affordable, such as ?__99 instead of rounding it off to the nearest dollar. This pricing strategy helps encourage consumers to purchase the company’s products based on perceived affordability. Thus, this element of McDonald’s marketing mix highlights the importance of bundle pricing and psychological pricing to encourage customers to buy more products.

But for the many small businesses those who have tight budget, digital marketing can prove to be a savior. That’s why many new and old businesses are leveraging the power of digital marketing.

Traditional marketing doesn’t allow direct interaction with customers, whereas digital marketing offers a higher level of engagement and interaction. Through social media, live chat, and email, you can easily engage with your target audience, which is not possible through traditional marketing methods. Liking, sharing, commenting on social media posts, rating products and reviews are the ways audience can communicate with you. You need to respond promptly and professionally to keep them engaged.

Digital marketing lets you measure results. Google Analytics and other tools help you record things like the number of people who visited your website, how many clicked on ads, how long they stayed on the website, how many purchased, and so on. This way, you can easily measure your ROI.

·        3: Bigger Audience Range

Traditional marketing is limited in many ways, but one of the biggest restriction that comes with it is the inability to go beyond a regional or local audience. Your business may not be geographically-bound.

You can not only reach larger numbers of people; you can reach them regardless of their geographic location. When you post something on your Facebook page, you can reach someone who lives a couple of blocks away, or a continent away too!
