In this article I’m going to share quite a counterintuitive principle, which we have come to establish as part of our proven methodology.
It stems from our direct experience in our own personal lives, as well as in coaching over 500 powerful female leaders across the world. This is counterintuitive, it is bound to transform your life in ways that you can’t even imagine. So, the secret of today is: diet and exercise are NOT the two most important keys to fundamentally unlock your greatest results. I know this sounds opposed to popular belief and I’m going to share with you what I mean by this.
We believe that your greatest level of health fitness well-being and mind-body confidence is like a tripod, a structure with three legs. In fact, this theory we’ve developed we call the tripod theory, and it underpins our entire proven methodology. And it’s the one thing that has the greatest positive impact on the results of our shifters.
If you don’t have a copy of my book, Make The Shift, feel free to get one from?Amazon, the tripod theory is shared on page 22 of my book, Make The Shift. I share our entire proven methodology in there. All our knowledge, everything is in here.
If you imagine your greatest level of health and well-being like this structure with three legs. Above the tripod, is your optimal health and well-being, the body of your dreams, a healthy mind, a balanced mind, joy, happiness, a life free of chronic disease, you truly thriving. Much like a tripod, even if just one of the three legs is weaker than the others, the whole structure is weak. So you’re either feeling wobbly when it comes to your health and well being all the time or you’re actually crashing down.
Now what are the three legs? I’m actually going to share with you what the three legs are. The three legs of the tripod are: Focus, Food, and Fitness, the three F’s as we call them, and everything is in the book, so if this tickles your interest, just get the book.
Food and fitness are two of the three legs. They are the most common ones and the most well known ones. And in our experience, they’re actually the ones that most people are doing something good around, not everything, but they’re present with what needs to happen there and they’re trying what they can to do their best there.
However, there is one leg of the tripod which every single one of us underestimate and undevelops, and that is the Focus pillar. The Focus pillar has anything to do with your mindset around your health and well being, with your mindfulness, and with how, if at all, you are training your mind to support your goals and aspirations revolving around your health and well-being.
It’s the single most important key that will unlock results that are greater than your greatest expectations and it’s the one thing which, hands on fire, you are under estimating right now and undervaluing, not because you’re bad. It’s just not anyone in fact, nobody understands it the way we do and nobody knows how to develop a real effective strategy to help you strengthen the three legs, especially the focus leg of the tripod.
The way this manifests itself is that maybe you’re working out, maybe you’re eating okay, you don’t think that you’re eating so bad. So why aren’t you getting the results that you think you should? Or why is it so hard to get those results and even harder to maintain them?
Most likely, in 99.9% of cases, that is because you are actually not developing the focus pillar. So you’re continuously working on one or two of the three legs and generally speaking, if you’re a human being like all of us, you’re working on the one that you feel most comfortable around. But you’re constantly and continuously undeveloping or not taking enough care of one or two of three legs and for sure, the focus pillar.

Human beings are wired to do what we feel good at. It’s just human nature, we don’t like to do things that we don’t feel we’re good at, we avoid them. This is why we all tend to focus on only one or two of the three legs. We tend to consistently ignore the one that actually has the greatest room for improvement, which in our experience tends to be the focus pillar. So the misconception is that if you’ve plateaued or if you’re struggling, or if you’re not getting the results that you would like, you should be exercising more, or you should be eating better.
I’m not saying that those things don’t help but doing more of what you already know, doing more of what you already do, would only bring forth marginal improvements, whereas doubling down on the areas where you are weakest and where you have the most room for improvement will unlock a level of success that you can’t even imagine.
If you don’t understand the focus pillar, if you don’t know what that actually means to strengthen it, chances are you’re not doing very much, if anything at all around it. Just doing 10% more on the focus pillar will bring forth 1,000% greater results than constantly hammering down on your fitness and nutrition. This is huge, it’s literally the biggest distinction and it’s the one thing that nobody talks about in health and wellness, because they just don’t know and that’s fine but it’s the one thing that sets our methodology apart from the rest and that will actually blow your mind the moment you start delving into it.
So, what should you be doing? Once more, you can get a copy of my book, where you will learn everything about the focus pillar, everything about the tripod theory, and what you can start doing right away. But the other thing I feel compelled to share with you today, we have developed which has taken years and quite a bit of money. We’ve developed a very effective scorecard questionnaire. It only takes five minutes, not more to take, you answer a bunch of questions very easy, you can’t get it wrong.
You will be able to immediately assess your current level of development across the three pillars of Focus, Food and Fitness, and you will be able to immediately see where you’re at with the three, where is the area with most room for improvement, and we’ll share with you some effective tips on what you can start doing right away to start making improvements, I’m going to share the link in the comments.
It takes less than five minutes. You can only improve what you measure. So the single most effective way to start achieving greater results is to become present with where you’re at.
Today, not tomorrow, not later, as soon as you’re done watching this video, click on the link in the comments and spend less than five minutes taking the scorecard questionnaire and you receive an email with all the useful information that you need.
Let me tell you, this might be the most fruitful five minutes you’ve ever spent on your health and well being because this is truly the most powerful distinction you will ever come across. I see this in my practice every single day and frankly I see it in my life. I am an embodiment of this distinction.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this weekend wellness live session, stay tuned for more. And remember, there is no better time than right now to take a tiny little step in the direction towards your most fit, healthy, confident self.
Ciao for now
