Why did you develop a product for 24 inch laundry?

One of the most asked questions I get. Most front load 24 inch laundry sold are deluxe models having the same features as the full size top of the line models. Front load washer are not the same as top load washers. There is a cleanout trap at the bottom and some have soap dispensors at the bottom of the washer.

Since a lot of these models are sold in hi-rise buildings they require safety pans. When the washer sits in a pan the trap can not be pulled out and the dispenser cannot be opened. We asked ourselves how do we satisfy the inpsectors and consumers. The answer was sit the washer above the resovoior not in a pan. So the PanStand was designed and developed. We also took into consideration that a lot of the washers had dryer stacked on top and installed in tight spaces. Ed, our engineer said no problem and designed in Air-flotation allowing 1 person to easily move a stacked washer and dryer using the blower of a shop vac. This make installing in tight areas easy and eliminates heavy lifting into a pan.

But why not for full size washers? Well most wanted the PanStand for stacked laundry and when you stack a full size washer and dryer it is too tall to float into a closet setting and it makes the dryer controls too high for the average person.

Today there are more brands of 24 inch laundry sold in the US market that full size brands. PanStands' patented univrsal design works with all brands. The black texturized finish blends in with any color washer or decor.
