Why did I create a digital Group for women by women with a fashionable purpose ?

Over the past months I worked privately with many female clients helping them to get clarity about their desired self image and conducted a big bunch of interview survey with women on dressing up feminine, sensual and sexy.

From those vulnerable and exceptionally brave sharing three major points emerged (please bare in mind that luckily there are exceptions to this):

1. From teenage time there is a lack of mature female role models who lead the way for a healthy body relationship and are empowered in the way they dress, expressing themself as free true women. Dressing up for them and embracing all facets of their personality.

2. When a woman explores her own femininity, sensuality and sexuality through image and clothes she can be exposed emotionally to shaming, criticism and attacks from other women. Seen as dangerous the female collective will make sure to put her down or ridiculazing her for example. I would name this as toxic feminine, and we probably all did it some days too, more or less silently.

3. Exploring self image through clothes is not always safe, depending on the country and beliefs of the community or masculine maturity in the way men handle their own sexuality. For a young girl or woman, daring to be free in her body and expression can be frightening and even in some cases traumatizing when exposed to unhealthy male gaze. Shutting a woman down for many decades to come. ( Luckily healthy men DO exist too. God bless them for their healing power, and let us learn to never treat men this way either.)

4.There was no community, support groups with resources to turn to. Complete loneliness.

There are many more clues that lead me to do what I enjoy to do with women in helping them to embrace all their facets…but I will stop to those four points for now and in conclusion I would say:

I decided to create a digital group for Women by Women that would be about fashion but with a purpose.

Why ?

Because we heal trauma in relationships, not alone.

So as women to heal in our image we need to give each other a new experience that changes our reality. And in the absence of substantial role models we need to lead the way entering our queen energy. The group is therefore only for women with the aim to hold a safe container where we can experience sisterhood, fun, fashion, healing and whatever your history with clothes or your image might be that you were failed in, in the past.
