"Why did Dhanpatrai die poor?"

"Why did Dhanpatrai die poor?"

Dhanpatrai, born on July 31, 1880, in Lamhi near Varanasi, to a post office clerk, lost his father at the age of 16 and started private tuition to take care of his stepmother and half-brother. Later, he worked as a deputy sub-inspector of schools, which he quit on a call from Gandhi Ji.

Then Nawabrai, a freedom fighter and socialist, got on the bad books of the British Empire and was hauled by the district magistrate of Jamirpur in the year 1910 for his crime, "Sozewatan: An Anthology of Short Stories." He worked as an editor of a journal "Maryaada" and later as a principal at Kashividyapeeth.

Now famous under his pseudonym "Munshi Premchand," he changed the way Hindi literature was written. He brought realism to Hindi literature and is considered one of the greatest Hindi writers. With his collection of 300 short stories, a dozen novels, and two plays, Dhanpatrai, also known as Munshi Premchand, died poor on October 8, 1936.

The #market and the readers realized and appreciated his #talent too late. Like him, there are so many talents on this #earth that go unnoticed because they do not know how to get themselves noticed. If one is good at publicizing the product, even a mediocre product will get good value. However, if you cannot market it or yourself well, even the best product will not be valued at all.

#Marketing is the foundation of all #sales. Once you know what you want to achieve, you should do your best to find and understand your market so that the right #people value you and your product at the right time, not when it is too late.
