Why a corporate leader should be a good public speaker? Find out now...

Last month, I was sitting with the Vice President of Kia Motors and he asked me this question after talking to me for a while noticing I am a public speaking coach.

Any feedback for me?

I said; I didn’t observe you with an eye for capturing critical feedback but what quickly came to my mind that time, I am sharing it here.

1. Analytical Thinking - For speeches, you do much analysis to be logical and craft the speeches.

2. Behavioural Thinking - You need to keep track of audience type and behavior to become familiar with public speaking.

3. Critical Thinking - When you think deeply and give solutions, the audience gets value. Solving a problem is a trademark of a leader and it is expected to be the same from a public speaker on the stage.

4. Emotional Intelligence - Apply emotions in public speaking with the art of expression is what you need to follow and the emotional quotient also helps engage the audience deeply in public speaking.

5. Personality development – More speeches, more vocabulary, apt body language, more skills upgrade, better flow of talk. You improve your overall personality when you increase public speaking as a corporate leader.
