There are different challenges facing modern companies. In order to distinguish themselves from competitors and be recognizable on the market, they must have strong and distinctive features. This is necessary for their development and improvement.
Corporate identity is a complex marketing tool. Presenting the company in the public space is an important moment in its development. The visual messages that go to the target group make it identifiable and distinguish it from competing companies in the environment in which it operates.
Importance of corporate design
Corporate identity is extremely important for an increasingly competitive and saturated market. This is the how the company shows their image. The means of expression that are necessarily imposed are the company logo – logo; choice of fonts and colors; stationery materials corporate forms and many more, which tend to shape and identify the company’s style and its visual presence in the media. Corporate identity has a strong impact on customer perceptions, plays an important role in recognizing and promoting the company, as well as on the overall brand building. It remains an imprint both in the mind and in the subconscious of the person, which is why it must be well recognizable to its audience.
The design also gives people an idea of the quality of the product or service offered. The clear and plain vision could signify style and elegance, for example, a composition or a specific color solution for a not so good product, respectively. That is why the graphic designer’s role is related not only to the aesthetic value of the design, but also to the responsibility to place it on the right spot for each project. Otherwise, this might mislead a customer, for example, that a fast food restaurant is a place to have a family dinner, or to find with unpleasant surprise that a well-presented hotel is actually no more than just a hostel.
